Car
If you're traveling by car, start from Gyöngyös. Head south on Hegyalja street (Hegyalja u.) for about 1.5 kilometers. You will see the sign for Muzsla Kilátó on your right. There is a small parking area available near the entrance of the lookout point. Ensure to park safely and follow the paths leading to the lookout.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a bus from Gyöngyös to the nearby village of Mátraderecske. Buses run frequently, so check the local schedule. Once you arrive at Mátraderecske, you will need to walk approximately 3 kilometers to Muzsla Kilátó. Follow the signs directing you to the lookout point, which will take you through scenic paths. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes as the walk includes some hilly terrain.
Walking from Parking Area
If you have parked your car at the designated parking area, exit the vehicle and follow the marked trail signs towards Muzsla Kilátó. The trail is well-maintained and is approximately a 10-minute walk uphill. Enjoy the views as you ascend!
