Car
If you're driving from anywhere in Mátra, head towards Gyöngyös. Follow the signs for the main road (Route 24) leading into Gyöngyös. Once you reach the town center, look for Kossuth Lajos utca. Museum Matra is located at Kossuth Lajos u. 40, which is on your right side. There is limited street parking available nearby, so be prepared to search for a spot.
Public Transportation
Take a bus from any nearby town in Mátra to Gyöngyös. The main bus station in Gyöngyös is located a short walk from the museum. After arriving at the Gyöngyös bus station, exit the station and head south towards the center of town. Walk along Kossuth Lajos utca; the museum will be on your right at number 40. Bus tickets generally cost around 400 HUF (about 1.1 EUR).
Walking
If you're already in Gyöngyös, you can walk to Museum Matra from anywhere in the town center. Simply head south on Kossuth Lajos utca, and you will find the museum at Kossuth Lajos u. 40. The walk from the town square will take approximately 10-15 minutes.
