If you're traveling by car, drive towards Gyöngyös from any location in Mátra. Once you reach the town, follow the signs to Parádi út. Harkály Ház is located at Parádi út 6, 3232 Gyöngyös. You can park on the street near the site. Please note that parking may be limited, so plan accordingly.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a bus to Gyöngyös from any nearby town in Mátra. The main bus station in Gyöngyös is located centrally. From the bus station, it's about a 20-minute walk to Harkály Ház. Head south on Kossuth Lajos utca, then turn right onto Parádi út. Continue straight until you reach Parádi út 6, where Harkály Ház is located. Alternatively, you can take a taxi from the bus station, which will cost around 1,500 HUF.
Walking
If you're already in the Mátrafüred area, you can walk to Harkály Ház. Start at the Mátrafüred train station and head south on the main road. Continue on until you reach Gyöngyös, and then follow the directions above to Parádi út 6. The total walking distance is approximately 6 kilometers and should take about 1.5 to 2 hours.
