Once you reach the city, look for public parking options nearby, as street parking can be limited. The Janus Pannonius Museum is located at Káptalan u. 5, 7621 Pécs. Once parked, it’s just a short walk to the museum.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, check the local bus or train schedules from your location in Mecsek to Pécs. Once you arrive at the Pécs bus or train station, you can either walk or take a local bus to reach the museum. The museum is approximately a 15-minute walk from the station. Head northeast on Szent István tér, continue onto Kossuth Lajos utca, and then turn left onto Káptalan utca. The museum will be on your right.

If you are already in the vicinity of Pécs, walking is a pleasant option. From the city center, head towards Szent István tér, then continue straight onto Kossuth Lajos utca.
