If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Pécs. Head southeast on Rákóczi út (Route 6) and follow the signs for Route 58. Continue on Route 58 for approximately 17 km until you reach the town of Váralja. Once in Váralja, turn onto Bányatelep utca. Váraljai parkerdő will be on your left. There is parking available nearby. Note that parking may incur a small fee, typically around 200 HUF per hour.
Public Transportation
To reach Váraljai parkerdő using public transportation, start at the Pécs bus station. Take bus 18 towards Kertváros. After around 30 minutes, get off at the Váralja stop. From there, it's a short walk to Bányatelep utca. Follow the street signs towards Váraljai parkerdő, which is approximately a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. A one-way bus ticket costs about 500 HUF.
Bicycle
