Walking
Start your journey at the Miskolc city center, specifically from the Main Square (Fő tér). Head northeast on Tímár Street (Tímár utca) towards the intersection with Bartók Béla Street (Bartók Béla utca). Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. From the roundabout, take the second exit onto Kossuth Lajos Street (Kossuth Lajos utca). After approximately 800 meters, you will see a sign for the Lillafüred area. Follow the signs as you continue on Kossuth Lajos Street, which will lead you into Lillafüred. The walk will take around 30-40 minutes, and you will be surrounded by beautiful scenery along the way.

From the city center, head to the nearest bus stop at Széchenyi utca. Take bus number 1 towards Lillafüred. The journey takes approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the final stop, which is Lillafüred. From there, walk toward the Szinva waterfall by following the signs. It’s about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop. You will pass through a lush forest path that leads directly to the waterfall.
