From Salgotarjan city center (for instance, starting at the main square), walk to the nearest bus stop. You can take the bus number 1 from the 'Kossuth Lajos tér' bus station. Stay on the bus for about 15 minutes until you reach the 'Karancs út' stop. After getting off, walk along Karancs út for approximately 1 kilometer towards the direction of Baglyaskő Castle. The Visitor Center is located on your left at Karancs út 78. Look for the sign indicating the Nature Reserve.

If you are in the central area of Salgotarjan, you can walk to the Baglyaskő Castle Nature Reserve Visitor Center. Head east on Rákóczi út, then turn left onto Karancs út. Continue walking straight for about 30 minutes; you will pass through a residential area, and after approximately 2 kilometers, you will find the Visitor Center on your right at Karancs út 78.

Bicycle
For those who prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from a local rental shop in Salgotarjan. Start from the city center and head towards Rákóczi út, then take a left onto Karancs út. The route is mostly flat and will take around 15-20 minutes to reach the Visitor Center, located at Karancs út 78. Enjoy the scenic ride through the natural landscapes.
