Walking
Start your journey at the Salgótarján train station (Salgótarján Vasútállomás). Exit the station and head east on Kossuth Lajos út. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Hunyadi János út. Turn left onto Hunyadi János út and walk for about 600 meters until you reach the intersection with Kálvária út. Turn right onto Kálvária út, which will lead you uphill. Follow Kálvária út for approximately 1 km, passing through a residential area. When you reach the end of Kálvária út, you will see a sign for the Boszorkány-kő hiking trail leading to your left. Follow this trail, which will take you through the forest and up to the Boszorkány-kő rock formation. The total walking distance from the train station is about 2.5 km and will take approximately 30-40 minutes.

From the Salgótarján train station, walk to the nearest bus stop located on Kossuth Lajos út. Take bus number 3 (or any bus heading towards the Kálvária neighborhood). Disembark at the 'Kálvária' stop. From there, continue on foot by heading uphill on Kálvária út for about 1 km until you reach the intersection with the trail leading to Boszorkány-kő. Follow the trail signs that will guide you to the rock formation. The total duration including the bus ride is approximately 40-50 minutes.
