Walking
From the center of Salgotarjan, head southwest on Rákóczi út towards Kossuth Lajos utca. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Kossuth Lajos utca. Turn left onto Kossuth Lajos utca and walk for about 300 meters. You will see a bus stop named 'Zagyvaróna' on your right. From there, you can take bus number 1 heading towards Zagyvaróna for about 10 minutes.
Bus
Once you get off at the Zagyvaróna bus stop, face the main road and walk uphill on the dirt path that is visible from the bus stop. Follow the path for approximately 15 minutes, and you will reach Zagyvafő vár romjai, which is located on a hilltop with a beautiful view of the surrounding area. The ruins are well marked, so you should be able to find your way easily.
