Public Transport
From Szekesfehervar, take the local bus number 10 towards Zirc. Buses usually depart from the main bus station which is located at Kossuth Lajos utca 1. The journey takes about 40 minutes. Make sure to check the schedule ahead of time as frequency may vary. Get off at the 'Zirc' bus stop, which is located close to the center of the town.
Walking
If you find yourself in the center of Szekesfehervar, you can also take a scenic walk to Zirc. Head towards the main road, Rákóczi út, and follow it north. After approximately 3 km, you will reach the outskirts of Zirc. Continue straight on Rákóczi út until you arrive at Rákóczi tér, where Zirc Abbey is located.
Bicycle
For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Szekesfehervar. Cycle north along the designated bike paths, following the signs towards Zirc. The ride is around 10 km and offers beautiful views of the surrounding landscape. Once you reach Zirc, follow the signs to Rákóczi tér, where the Abbey is located.
