From Tatabánya, head to the Tatabánya train station (Tatabánya Vasútállomás). Take a train towards Budapest, which is a direct route. The train journey will take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at Budapest Nyugati Railway Station, exit the station and follow the signs to the metro. Take metro line M3 (blue line) towards Kőbánya-Kispest. After three stops, get off at Deák Ferenc tér station. Transfer to metro line M2 (red line) towards Déli pályaudvar. Get off at the second stop, which is Astoria. From Astoria, walk along Rákóczi út until you reach Váci utca. Turn left on Váci utca, and continue walking for a few minutes until you arrive at Thonet-ház located at Váci u 11/A.

If you are already in the city center of Tatabánya, you can start your journey by walking towards the nearest bus stop or train station. Board a bus or train heading to Budapest. Once in Budapest, you can navigate to Thonet-ház by using a map application on your smartphone. From Deák Ferenc tér, you can walk to Váci utca.
