Follow signs for Budapest, and merge onto M0 (the ring road around Budapest). Take the exit for 'Buda' and follow signs for the city center. Once you reach the Danube River, look for signs for 'Gellért Hill' or 'Szent Gellért rakpart'. You can find parking nearby at Szent Gellért rakpart, but be aware that parking fees may apply, typically around 300 HUF per hour.
Public Transportation - Train
If you prefer public transportation, take a train from your location in Transdanubia to Budapest. The main train stations are in Székesfehérvár, Veszprém, and others. Look for trains heading to Budapest Déli (Southern) station. Upon arrival, transfer to tram line 61 or 17 from the station. Get off at the 'Gellért tér' stop. From there, it’s a short walk to Gellért Hill Cave, which is located at Szent Gellért rakpart 1, 1114 Budapest.
Public Transportation - Bus
Alternatively, you can take a bus from various towns in Transdanubia to Budapest. Check the schedule for buses heading to central Budapest. Once you arrive at either the Nepliget or Kelenföld bus station, transfer to metro line M4 towards 'Keleti pályaudvar'. Get off at 'Szent Gellért tér' station. From there, it is a short walk to Gellért Hill Cave located at Szent Gellért rakpart 1, 1114 Budapest.

After arriving at Szent Gellért tér via any of the above public transport options, walk towards the Danube River. Head southeast along Szent Gellért rakpart, and you will see the entrance to Gellért Hill Cave. It is approximately a 10-minute walk from the tram or metro stop.
