Walking
From the center of Vác, head towards the Váci train station. Once you reach the station, take the train heading to Budapest. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. After arriving at Nyugati Pályaudvar (Western Railway Station) in Budapest, exit the station and head towards the tram stop nearby. Take tram line 4 or 6 towards Széll Kálmán tér. After a few stops, disembark at Jászai Mari tér. From there, you can walk across the Margaret Bridge to reach Margaret Island.
Bus and Walking
Start at the Váci town square and walk to the bus stop located near the Váci train station. Take bus 33 towards Budapest. It will take you directly to the Árpád híd (Árpád Bridge) stop. Once you get off the bus, walk across the Árpád Bridge, and you will find the entrance to Margaret Island just ahead on your right.
