Train
From Vac, walk to the Vac train station (Váci pályaudvar) located in the city center. Once at the station, purchase a ticket to Budapest. Trains to Budapest leave frequently, so check the schedule for the next departure. The journey to Budapest takes about 30-40 minutes. Upon arrival at Budapest Nyugati station, exit the train and follow the signs to the metro.

At Budapest Nyugati station, look for the metro line M3 (blue line). Board the metro heading towards Kőbánya-Kispest. Travel for 4 stops and get off at Árpád híd station. Follow the signs to the exit and head towards the Danube River.

Walking
Once you exit the Árpád híd metro station, walk towards the Margaret Bridge (Margit híd). Cross the bridge on foot. Once you reach Margaret Island (Margitsziget), follow the signs to the Mini Zoo, which is located on the island. The walk from the bridge to the zoo will take approximately 10-15 minutes through the beautiful park area of the island.
