From the center of Vác, head towards the Váci River. Follow the riverbank walking path southwards until you reach the Váci Railway Station. This should take approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you reach the station, take a train towards Budapest. The train ride will take around 30-40 minutes. After arriving at Budapest's Nyugati Pályaudvar (Western Railway Station), follow the signs to the Metro Line 3 (blue line) towards Kőbánya-Kispest. Get off at Deák Ferenc tér. From there, exit the station and walk towards Vörösmarty tér, which is about a 10-minute walk straight ahead.

Start at the main square in Vác and locate the bus station. Look for buses heading to Budapest. The bus ride will take around 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the bus terminal in Budapest, walk to the nearby Metro Line 3 (blue line) at Deák Ferenc tér. Take the metro towards Kőbánya-Kispest and get off at the Vörösmarty tér station. Exit the station and walk a short distance to Vörösmarty tér, which should take about 5 minutes.
