Getting There

    From Veszprém, walk to the Veszprém bus station (Autóbusz-állomás), located at Kossuth Lajos u. 1. Once there, take bus number 30 towards Balatonalmádi. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the Csopak stop, which is the closest to Balaton Uplands National Park. After getting off the bus, walk approximately 1 kilometer (about 15 minutes) to reach the park entrance located at Kossuth u. 6, 8229 Csopak.

    If you prefer walking, you can start from the center of Veszprém and head towards the north. Follow the signs leading to the Balaton Uplands, which will take you along scenic paths. The distance is about 10 kilometers and will take approximately 2 hours. Make sure to have a map or navigation app handy to guide you along the trail, as it may not be well-marked in some areas.

    For those who enjoy cycling, rent a bicycle in Veszprém. From the city center, ride towards the north along the designated bike paths towards Csopak.
