Getting There

    From Veszprém, head to the Veszprém train station, located at Veszprém, Lóczy Lajos utca 1. You can take a local bus or walk to the station. Once at the station, purchase a ticket to Balatonfüred or Keszthely, which are popular towns along Lake Balaton. Trains run regularly, approximately every hour. The journey to Balatonfüred takes about 30 minutes, while Keszthely takes around an hour. Enjoy the scenic views along the way!

    You can also take a bus to reach Lake Balaton. From Veszprém, go to the Veszprém bus station, located at Veszprém, Szabadság tér. Purchase a ticket to Balatonfüred, Tihany, or Keszthely, depending on which area of the lake you wish to visit. Buses leave regularly, and the trip to Balatonfüred takes approximately 30 minutes. Make sure to check the bus schedule for exact departure times.
