Bus
From the Akureyri Bus Station, take the local bus route 2 towards Vaðlaheiði. The bus will take you along the waterfront and up into the hills. Get off at the Vaðlaskógur stop. From there, it's a short walk towards Vaðlaskógur 605, where Forest Lagoon is located. Follow the signs that point towards the lagoon.
Taxi
You can easily flag down a taxi in the city center or call a local taxi service. Provide the driver with the address Vaðlaskógur 605, and they will take you directly to Forest Lagoon. The taxi ride should take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic.
Walking
If you prefer walking, start from the city center (e.g., from Akureyri Church). Head east on Hafnarstræti, then take a left onto Kaldársveit and continue straight. After about 3 kilometers, you will reach Vaðlaskógur. Follow the signs to Forest Lagoon, which will be on your right.
