Walking
If you are starting from the Akureyri town center, head southwest on Hafnarstræti street towards the harbor. Continue along this street until you reach the roundabout at Glerárgata. From the roundabout, take the second exit onto Glerárgata. Walk straight for approximately 1 kilometer. The Hearts of Akureyri Traffic Light will be on your left, at the intersection of Glerárgata and the crossroad leading towards the residential area.

Begin at the Akureyri bus station, which is centrally located. Catch bus number 1 towards the Glerárgata route. The bus will take you directly along Glerárgata. After a few stops, request to get off at the stop closest to the intersection of Glerárgata and the residential area. From there, walk a short distance to the Hearts of Akureyri Traffic Light, which will be visible at the intersection.
