If you are in the center of Akureyri, start at the Akureyri Church (Akureyrarkirkja). From there, head east on Hafnarstræti street until you reach the intersection with Aðalstræti. Turn left onto Aðalstræti and continue until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Glerárgata. Follow Glerárgata for about 1 kilometer until you reach a second roundabout. Take the first exit onto Völvufell. The Icelandic Aviation Museum will be on your right after about 500 meters.

Take Bus Line 1 from the Akureyri bus station, which is located near the city center. You will want to head towards the 'Sundlaug Akureyrar' stop. After approximately 10 minutes, get off at the 'Glerárgata' stop. From there, walk east on Glerárgata for about 1 kilometer. At the second roundabout, take the first exit onto Völvufell. The Icelandic Aviation Museum will be on your right after about 500 meters.
