Walking
Start from the center of Akureyri, near the Akureyri Church (Akureyrarkirkja). Head south on Aðalstræti street for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Skólagata. Turn left onto Skólagata and continue walking for another 300 meters. You will then reach the junction with Skólastígur. Turn right onto Skólastígur, and after a short walk of approximately 200 meters, you will find Regnbogastiginn on your left, situated close to the residential area of Rósenborg.
Public Transport
If you prefer public transport, take the local bus from the Akureyri bus terminal (Strætó). Board the bus that heads towards the 'Rósenborg' area. The ride will take about 10-15 minutes. Disembark at the 'Rósenborg' stop. From there, walk a short distance down Skólastígur, and Regnbogastiginn will be on your left after a few minutes of walking.
