Continue on Road 864 for about 20 kilometers, following the signs toward Dimmuborgir. The lava field will be clearly marked, and you can park in the designated parking area near the entrance.

    Using public transportation from Askja Caldera, you will need to first take a bus to Akureyri, which is the nearest town with more transportation options.
