Walking

Start at the center of Blonduos by the main road, Laugavegur. Head north towards the intersection with Route 1 (the Ring Road). Once you reach Route 1, turn left and walk along the road. Continue walking until you reach the sign for Vatnsnesvegur, where you will turn right. Follow Vatnsnesvegur for about 25 kilometers. Keep an eye out for Hvitserkur, which is located right off the coastline. You will see a parking area and a viewing spot close to the rock formation.

Rent a bicycle in Blonduos and start your journey on Laugavegur, heading north towards Route 1. When you reach the intersection, turn left onto Route 1. Continue for approximately 25 kilometers, then take a right onto Vatnsnesvegur. Follow the road until you see Hvitserkur on your right. There is a parking area available, and you can lock your bike there while you explore the area.

Public Transport

Check the local bus schedule at the Blonduos bus station. Take a bus heading towards Hvammstangi, which should pass by Vatnsnesvegur. Make sure to inform the driver you want to stop at Hvitserkur.
