Walking
Start at the center of Blonduos, specifically at the Blonduos Church, which is a well-known landmark. From the church, head northwest on Þjóðvegur 1 (Route 1) for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you see the signs for Ingimundarholl. Continue following the road, and after about 500 meters, you will reach the entrance to Ingimundarholl parking. The parking area is clearly marked, and you should see the main entrance to the site nearby.
Bicycle
If you prefer to cycle, rent a bike from a local rental shop in Blonduos. From the rental location, head towards Þjóðvegur 1 (Route 1) and cycle northwest for about 1.5 kilometers. Once you reach the signs for Ingimundarholl, continue for another 500 meters, where you will find the entrance to Ingimundarholl parking. The path is relatively flat, making for an enjoyable ride.
Public Transport
There are limited bus services in Blonduos, but check with your accommodation for the latest schedules. If a bus is available, board a bus heading towards the direction of Ingimundarholl. Inform the driver of your destination, and they will let you know when to get off. The bus should drop you off near the entrance, and you can walk the final distance of about 500 meters to the Ingimundarholl parking area.
