Turn left onto Skagfirdingabraut and continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers. Keep an eye out for the signs pointing towards Vatnshlíðarvatn. As you approach, you will see a path leading towards the nature preserve. Follow this path until you arrive at Vatnshlíðarvatn.
