If you are traveling by car from the main town in Borgarfjörður, start by heading east on Route 1 (the Ring Road). Continue for about 30 kilometers until you reach the turn-off for Route 54. Take Route 54 heading north. After approximately 20 kilometers, you’ll see signs for Víðidalstunga. Turn left onto the gravel road leading into Víðidalstunga. Follow this road for about 10 kilometers. Keep an eye out for the access road to Bergárfoss, which will be marked on your right. Parking is available near the waterfall.
