Walking
From the center of Borgarnes, head southeast on Skallagrímsgata street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Þjóðvegur road (Route 1). Turn left onto Þjóðvegur and walk until you reach the bus stop for the Reykjavík bus. Take the bus to Reykjavík, which should take about 1 hour. Once in Reykjavík, get off at the stop called 'Hlemmur'. From there, walk towards the city center. Follow the path along Laugavegur street until you reach Kirkjutorg square. The Alþingishúsið will be located at 43W5+MWW, Kirkjutorg.
