From the center of Borgarnes, start at the Borgarnes Swimming Pool. Head southeast on Borgarbraut road towards the main road (Route 1). Walk for about 5 minutes until you reach the intersection with Route 1. Turn left onto Route 1 and continue walking for approximately 30 minutes. You will pass scenic views of the surrounding mountains and the coastline of Borgarnes. After about 30 minutes, look for the bus stop where you can catch a bus towards Reykjavík. Take the bus to Reykjavík, which usually takes around 1 hour and 15 minutes. Once you arrive in Reykjavík, head towards Pósthússtræti street. You can either walk or use public transportation to reach Pósthússtræti 101, where Austurvöllur is located.

Start at the Borgarnes bus station located in the town center. Look for the bus number that heads directly to Reykjavík, which runs several times a day. Purchase a ticket from the ticket machine or the bus driver. The journey to Reykjavík takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Upon arrival at the Reykjavík bus station, exit and head towards the city center. From there, you can walk to Pósthússtræti 101 by heading southeast for approximately 15 minutes.
