    Start at the Borgarnes town center, specifically at the Borgarnes Museum. Head east on Borgarbraut road until you reach the intersection with Búðargata. Turn left onto Búðargata and continue straight for about 500 meters. You will see the sign leading to the bus stop. Catch the bus heading to Reykjavík. This journey will take around 1 hour. Upon arriving in Reykjavík, get off at the stop closest to the city center. From there, walk south on Hverfisgata and turn left onto Kirkjustræti. Continue walking until you reach Dómkirkjan í Reykjavík, which will be on your right.

    If you're up for a bike ride, rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Borgarnes. Start at the Borgarnes town center and head east along Borgarbraut.
