Start from the center of Borgarnes. Head south on Borgarbraut road. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the road leading to Route 1 (also known as the Ring Road). Turn left onto Route 1 and walk along the pedestrian path. After approximately 3 kilometers, you will see a sign for Gerðuberg Cliffs on your right. Follow the path leading up to the cliffs.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the bike rental shops in Borgarnes. Depart from the rental shop and head south on Borgarbraut road. Ride straight until you reach the intersection with Route 1. Take a left onto Route 1 and follow the road for about 3 kilometers. Look for the sign for Gerðuberg Cliffs on your right, and follow the path up to the cliffs.
Public Transportation
Check the local bus schedule for the line that goes towards Raudhamelur. Board the bus at the nearest bus stop in Borgarnes. Stay on the bus until the stop closest to Gerðuberg Cliffs. From the bus stop, follow the signs or ask locals for directions to the cliffs, which should be a short walk away.
