If you're driving, head southwest on Hringbraut (Route 49) from the city center. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Grandagarður. Turn right onto Grandagarður, and the Reykjavík Maritime Museum will be on your left at Grandagarður 8. There is parking available nearby.

To get to the Reykjavík Maritime Museum by public transport, take Bus 14 from the city center. Board at Hlemmur bus station and ride towards Sundahöfn. Get off at the stop 'Grandagarður'. From there, it’s a short 5-minute walk to the museum. Head southwest on Grandagarður, and you will find the museum at number 8 on your left.
