Walking
From Borgarnes town center, walk towards the Borgarnes bridge. Cross the bridge and continue straight on the main road (Route 1) heading towards Reykjavík. After about 50 meters, there will be a bus stop on your left. Look for the bus schedule for Bus #57 or #1. Board the bus heading to Reykjavík.
Bus
After boarding Bus #57 or #1 from Borgarnes, enjoy the scenic ride to Reykjavík. Stay on the bus for approximately 45 minutes until you reach the 'Laugardalur' stop. Once you arrive, exit the bus and walk towards Laugarnestangi street. Follow Laugardalur park along the pathway, and then turn right onto Laugarnestangi. The Sigurjón Ólafsson Museum will be on your left at Laugarnestangi 70.
Walking
If you are near the Reykjavík city center, walk towards the Laugardalur area. Head east on Laugavegur street and continue straight until you reach the park. Enter the park and follow the walking paths leading to Laugarnestangi street. Once you reach Laugarnestangi, walk towards the east until you see the museum at Laugarnestangi 70.
