Start from the center of Borgarnes, where you will find the main bus terminal. Head west on Borgarbraut road towards the Borgarnes bridge. Cross the bridge and continue straight until you reach the junction with Reykholt road (Route 1). Turn left onto Reykholt road. Continue for about 15 kilometers. Along the way, enjoy the scenic views of the surrounding countryside. Once you approach Reykholt, keep an eye out for the signs indicating Sturlureykir. The horse boarding stable is located on the right side of the road at Sturlureykir, 320 Reykholt.
