From the center of Borgarnes, start at the main bus stop located on Borgarbraut. Head southeast on Borgarbraut toward Miðbraut. Continue straight for about 1 km until you reach the intersection with the road leading to Reykjavík (Route 1). Turn left onto Route 1 and follow it for another 2 km until you reach the bus stop for the Reykjavík-bound bus. Take the bus to Reykjavík, which will take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive in Reykjavík, disembark at Hallgrímstorg. The Einar Jónsson Museum is located at Hallgrímstorg 3, just a short walk from the bus stop.
