From the center of Borgarnes, start at the Borgarnes Visitor Center. Head southeast on Borgarbraut road for about 500 meters until you reach the bus stop. Catch the local bus heading to Reykjavík, which runs approximately every hour. The ride to Reykjavík takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Once you arrive at the bus station in Reykjavík, exit the bus and walk towards the main street, Laugavegur. Continue walking along Laugavegur until you reach the intersection with Tryggvagata; turn right onto Tryggvagata. Walk straight for about 5 minutes, and you will find Volcano House at Tryggvagata 11 on your left.
