If you are traveling by car, start from Egilsstaðir, the main town in East Fjords. Head south on Route 1 (the Ring Road) towards Höfn. After about 70 km, take the exit towards Route 94. Continue for about 15 km until you reach the small gravel road leading to the Hvalnes Lighthouse. Drive about 50 meters east along the gravel road to reach the lighthouse. Ensure your vehicle can handle gravel roads, as some areas may be rough.

If you are using public transport, take a bus from Egilsstaðir to Höfn. You can check the bus schedules at the local bus station or online.
