Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Neskaupstadur. Head southwest on Route 92 towards Route 1. Continue on Route 1 for approximately 12 kilometers. Look for the signs for Easter Cave, which is located at the address 5955+3P2. There is parking available near the entrance to the cave. Make sure to check your GPS for the exact coordinates (65.1576486, -13.6407385) to ensure you arrive at the correct location.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a bus from nearby towns (such as Egilsstaðir) to Neskaupstadur. Once you arrive in Neskaupstadur, you will need a taxi to reach Easter Cave, as public transport does not directly serve the cave location. The taxi ride from Neskaupstadur to Easter Cave should take about 15 minutes and cost around 2,000 ISK. Be sure to confirm taxi availability ahead of time, as they may not always be on standby.
