Car
If you are traveling by car, head towards Egilsstaðir, which is the largest town in the East Fjords. From Egilsstaðir, take Route 1 (the Ring Road) heading northwest. After about 7 km, take the exit towards Route 93, following signs for Fellabær. Continue on Route 93 for about 6 km until you reach Vök Baths, located on the banks of Urriðavatn lake. Look out for the sign indicating Vök Baths, which is located at 8H33+G5 Fellabær, Iceland.
Public Transportation
For public transportation, take a bus from Egilsstaðir to Fellabær. Bus services are available but may require checking the local schedules for specific times. Once you arrive in Fellabær, it is about a 2 km walk to Vök Baths. Follow the road towards the lake, and you will find the entrance to Vök Baths on your right-hand side. Be sure to check the bus schedules in advance as they may not run frequently, and some services may require a transfer.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route or if public transportation schedules do not align with your plans, you can take a taxi from Egilsstaðir to Vök Baths. The taxi ride will take approximately 15 minutes and cost around 3000-4000 ISK, depending on the time of day and the taxi service used.
