Follow Route 75 for approximately 22 kilometers until you reach the sign for Hesteyri. Turn left onto the road leading to Hesteyri and continue until you reach Drangey Tours at the end of the road. Make sure your vehicle has good clearance as the road can be rough in some areas.

For those relying on public transportation, take a bus from Egilsstaðir or Akureyri towards Sauðárkrókur. Check the local bus schedules for the latest information. Once you arrive in Sauðárkrókur, you will need to arrange for a taxi or a local shuttle service to take you to Hesteyri, as public transport does not reach this area directly. Expect to pay around 10,000 ISK for a taxi ride from Sauðárkrókur to Hesteyri.
