Car
If you are driving from Egilsstaðir, head east on Route 1 (the Ring Road) for approximately 45 kilometers until you reach the town of Seyðisfjörður. From Seyðisfjörður, take Route 93 north towards Fjarðabyggð. Continue on Route 93 for about 15 kilometers, then take a left onto Route 85. Drive for another 20 kilometers until you reach the Klifbrekku Waterfall, located at the coordinates 65.179462, -14.081296. Make sure to park safely and be prepared for a short walk to the waterfall itself.
Public Transport
From Egilsstaðir, take the local bus service to Seyðisfjörður. Check the local bus schedule for timings, as services may vary. Once in Seyðisfjörður, you will need to arrange a taxi or local shuttle service to take you to Klifbrekku Waterfall. This may incur additional costs, typically around 5,000 ISK to 10,000 ISK for the taxi ride, depending on the service provider. Make sure to confirm the return trip with the driver.
