If you are driving, start from Egilsstaðir, which is the main town in the Eastern Region. Take Route 1 (the Ring Road) heading west. After about 50 kilometers, turn onto Route 93 towards Seyðisfjörður. Continue on Route 93 for approximately 25 kilometers until you reach the junction with Route 1 again. Turn right onto Route 1 heading south towards the Central Highlands. Follow Route 1 for about 40 kilometers and then turn left onto Route 851, which leads directly to Panorama Ridge. The drive is scenic, and you may want to stop along the way to take pictures of the beautiful landscapes.
