    To reach Fláajökull in Vatnajokull National Park by car, start by driving on Route 1 (Ring Road) towards the town of Höfn. From Höfn, take Road 998 towards the glacier lagoon Jökulsárlón. After passing Jökulsárlón, continue on Road 998 until you reach the parking area for Fláajökull. The parking area is located on the left-hand side of the road and from there, you can follow the marked trail to reach Fláajökull.
