Turn onto Stokksnesvegur (the road leading to Stokksnes) and continue for around 5 kilometers until you reach the parking area near the Viking Village and the stunning views of the Vestrahorn mountain. Note that parking may incur a small fee, so be prepared with cash or a card.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a bus from Egilsstaðir to Höfn. Once you arrive in Höfn, you will need to arrange for a taxi or a shuttle service to reach Stokksnes, as public transport does not directly service this area. The taxi ride from Höfn to Stokksnes will take approximately 20 minutes. Be sure to check the bus schedules in advance to plan your trip effectively.
