From the Egilsstadir Bus Station, take the bus to the town of Breiðdalsvík. The bus runs several times a day. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the stop 'Jökuldalur'. From there, you will need to walk about 1.5 kilometers along Jökuldalsvegur road. Follow the road signs towards Stuðlagil Canyon, which will lead you to the main access point.

If you are staying in the center of Egilsstadir, head towards the Egilsstadir Sports Center. From there, walk northeast along the main road (N1) until you reach the intersection with Jökuldalsvegur. Turn left onto Jökuldalsvegur and continue walking for approximately 5 kilometers. You will see signs directing you to Stuðlagil Canyon. It's a scenic walk that will take about 1.5 hours.

You can rent a bicycle from a local shop in Egilsstadir. Once you have a bike, head towards the main road (N1) and follow it north until you reach the junction with Jökuldalsvegur.
