Getting There

  • Car

    From Fimmvorduhals Pass, head southeast on Route 1 (Ring Road) towards Selfoss. Continue for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach the junction with Route 35. Turn left onto Route 35, also known as the Golden Circle route, towards Bláskógabyggð. After about 30 kilometers, turn right onto Route 36 towards Þingvellir National Park. Follow this road until you reach the town of Bláskógabyggð. Brúarfoss is located at Hlauptunga, 806 Bláskógabyggð, approximately 5 kilometers from the main road. There is a parking area near the site, but note that there may be a small fee for parking.

    From Fimmvorduhals Pass, take a bus towards Selfoss. Check the local bus schedule for departure times. Upon reaching Selfoss, transfer to a bus heading towards Bláskógabyggð. You may need to check schedules in advance, as public transport can be limited.
