Car
From the Fimmvorduhals Pass, head south on Route 1 (the Ring Road). Continue for about 30 kilometers until you reach the junction with Route 26. Turn left onto Route 26 and follow the signs for Emstruleið. After approximately 15 kilometers, you will see a sign for Innri–Emstruá. Follow the road, and you will arrive at your destination, RP4C+C38, 861 Emstruleið.
Public Transportation
To reach Innri–Emstruá via public transport, take a bus from Reykjavik to Hvolsvöllur. From Hvolsvöllur, you can find local taxi services or check if there are any shuttle services heading towards Emstruleið. Inform the driver of your destination, RP4C+C38, 861 Emstruleið. Please note that public transport may have limited schedules, so be sure to check ahead for availability.
Hiking
If you are already hiking in the Fimmvorduhals Pass area, you can continue your trek towards Innri–Emstruá by navigating through the trails that lead southward. Follow the marked paths, and keep the coordinates (63.80603, -19.2797832) in mind as you approach. Ensure you have proper hiking gear and a map, as the trails can be rugged and challenging.
