Car
If you are driving to Vöruhúsið from anywhere in Fimmvorduhals Pass, start by heading south on Route 1 (the Ring Road) towards Vestmannaeyjar. Continue on Route 1 for approximately 45 kilometers. You will need to take the ferry from the mainland to Vestmannaeyjar. The ferry departs from Landeyjahöfn. Once you reach Vestmannaeyjar, drive to Skólavegur 1. The restaurant Vöruhúsið will be on your left after approximately 5 minutes of driving in the town, right before you reach the harbor.
Public Transport
To reach Vöruhúsið using public transportation, you will first need to take a bus from Fimmvorduhals Pass to Hvolsvöllur, which is the nearest town with bus connections to Vestmannaeyjar. From Hvolsvöllur, take the bus to Landeyjahöfn where you can catch the ferry to Vestmannaeyjar. After arriving at Vestmannaeyjar, you can either walk or take a local taxi to Skólavegur 1. Vöruhúsið is located just a short distance from the ferry terminal, and should take about 10 minutes to reach by foot.
