Car
If you are driving from Reykjavik, take Route 1 (the Ring Road) heading east. After about 40 km, take the exit for Route 36 towards Thingvellir. Continue on Route 36 for approximately 25 km until you reach Thingvellir National Park. Once you enter the park, follow the signs for Lögberg, which is located at the coordinates 64.2597454, -21.1223642. There is a parking area nearby, and entrance to the park may require a small fee (around 1,000 ISK).
Public Transportation
To visit Lögberg via public transportation, you can take the bus from Reykjavik to Thingvellir National Park. The bus service is operated by Strætó, and you can catch a bus from the BSI Bus Terminal in Reykjavik. The bus route to Thingvellir typically runs multiple times a day, and you should check the latest schedule on the Strætó website. Once you reach the Thingvellir bus stop, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 km into the park towards Lögberg. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes as the walk is on a natural path.
