From the center of Grindavík, head east on Aðalgata street, walking towards the coast. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Suðurgata. Turn left onto Suðurgata and walk for about 500 meters until you reach the bus stop named 'Grindavik, Suðurgata'.

At the 'Grindavik, Suðurgata' bus stop, board the bus heading towards Kópavogur. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the next available bus. The ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes. You will want to get off at the stop 'Kópavogur, Heiðmörk'. After exiting, walk a short distance north to reach Heiðmörk.

If you prefer to walk from the bus stop 'Kópavogur, Heiðmörk', head north along the main road (Kópavogur Street) for about 300 meters. You will see signs directing you to Heiðmörk National Forest. Follow these signs and enter the forest area, where you can enjoy the trails and stunning views.
