Walking
If you are in the center of Grindavik, start by heading south on the main street, Hafnargata. Continue until you reach the intersection with Suðurgata. Turn left on Suðurgata and walk straight until you reach the junction with Grímsbæjarvegur. Turn right onto Grímsbæjarvegur and continue walking. After about 10 minutes, you will see a bus stop on your left side. From there, you can catch Bus 1 towards Kópavogur, which will take you directly to the Náttúrufræðistofa Kópavogs. The museum is located at Hamraborg 6 in Kópavogur, and the bus ride should take about 25 minutes.
Public Transport
While in Grindavik, you can take the local bus service. Head to the nearest bus stop and look for Bus 1. This bus runs regularly and connects Grindavik to Kópavogur. Stay on the bus for about 25 minutes until you reach the stop nearest to Hamraborg. Once you get off, walk towards Hamraborg 6, where the Náttúrufræðistofa Kópavogs is located. It's a short walk from the bus stop, just follow the signs or ask a local if you need further directions.
